Hawaiian Adventure

So as you all know Micah and I went to Hawaii last weekend and it was a little more exciting than planned.

We spent 2 day in Kauai, 3 days in the hospital, and 2 days in Honolulu.

Here are a few highlights!

Micah at Shipwreck Beach in Poi Pu, Kauai a short walk from our condo.

Tunnels Beach in northern Kauai was the most beautiful place I've ever been. The water was really this blue and when you turned around you saw these amazing green cliffs.

In case you haven't heard Micah got a fever and felt fluish starting Friday night and it developed into paricardities which has all of the same symptoms as a heart attack. Monday morning they rushed him to the hospital in an ambulance and then Monday night we got to take a medical air flight to Honolulu. Wednesday he was released from the hospital, but we couldn't fly until Friday night.

We were so blessed through the whole process. The Clouses happened to be in Kauai and even pulled over for the ambulance to pass Monday morning on their way to the beach. They were so sweet to sit with us at the hospital and pack and ship our luggage to us. Then Donita flew out to be with us. I was such a comfort not to be alone. Thank goodness the boys were with my family and having the time of their lives. Thanks a million to everyone!
