He is officially 5 years old! Merik's birthday was Friday but the party was Saturday. Try explaining that one to a 5 year old. I think it's pretty clear what this boys likes. He got either Power Rangers or water guns from his parents, grandparents and friends!Here are a few highlights of the weekend.
Friday we went swimming all morning with friends and again when Dad came home. 
Merik's party was so much fun. We just had 4 friends which was perfect for this age.
First the Dino Rangers had an egg hunt and then hatched the baby dinosaurs.
Next was a Power Ranger training course which consisted of jumping through sprinklers, sliding in the pool, and shooting the monsters.
Then they had to finish off the monsters with water balloons.

Merik waited all year for the pinata. He wasn't very efficient gathering candy because he was to excited to eat everything. Jaden filled his bag with only suckers!
At Merik's request we had brownies and ice cream. Yum!
After opening presents they headed back out for more water fun.
