If you had told me even 6 months ago we would become permanent residence of The Big D I would've called you crazy! As of Monday morning it became official. The contract is all signed and Micah will start working for The Endodontic Group, Inc. on October 1, 2009. (I know the name is so catchy and creative!)
In December Micah had a few job leads in Arizona but as time went by nothing panned out. He decided to send his resume out here in Dallas just to see what would happen. Within a week he had several bites. Really who wouldn't be impressed with a resume listing things like "summa cum laude", "valedictorian" and countless others that actually had to be whittled down because the "awards and accomplishments" section was too long! Most impressive was the way The Endo Group wooed Micah with invitations to their posh offices and expensive steak and seafood dinners. Finally they made an offer we just couldn't refuse.
Micah will start as an associate with the intent to buy in as a partner. Assuming all goes as planned we will be here for the long haul. Yes we are so sad not to move back to Arizona. In fact we don't even think of how much we and especially the kids will miss our families. We are just so thankful to have a job and always add on the thought that 5-10 years from now things could change....maybe...we'll see...who knows...
So to sum it up Micah will FINALLY attend his final graduation on September 30th and start work the next morning. Way to go babe! He will work 2 days a week in the Dallas office and 2 days in the Frisco office. Sometime this summer we'll move up that way and enjoy our first real paycheck in forever!
Micah I'm so proud of all your hard work to get us here and so excited you landed such a great job! Love you lots!

What an accomplishment! So proud of you guys and happy for you to land a "real" job! Lot's of hard work went into this one for both Micah and Meisha! Congratulations!!!!
That is a huge accomplishment! Way to go Micah! Sounds like things are working out great and of course being finished with school forever is something to celebrate! Way to go to you too Meisha for being the supportive wife, and mother allowing him to work so hard these past 2 years!! We are so excited for you guys :)

I just pulled up your blog as Marcus was climbing on the bed. He looked at the picture of Micah and said, "aahhh Propet!" (that would be Prophet in English) we love you guys and we're soooo glad you're staying :)

Meisha! I just got your comment - it was so good to you hear from you! I'm so happy for you guys - we still have 18 months to go! Time flies though! Mandi is going to be in Flower Mound which is about 10 minutes from Frisco! I absolutely LOVED it there. I hope we end up in that area. =) I guess we'll see! it would be so fun to catch up with you - let me know if you are ever in San Antonio! Congratulations!!
